Meet the Team

Dr. Michael Infantino, DPT, CMTPT, TPI

Dr. Michael Infantino is an upstate New York native that made his way to Maryland to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Michael lives with his wife just outside of Baltimore and spends his waking hours working with a variety of medical professionals to help restore the bodies and minds of the brave women and men that serve our country.

Prior to teaming up with the military in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virginia) he spent much of his time learning a variety of manual therapy techniques and movement practices that would help better his patients. Michael enjoys using movement screening and incorporating Olympic lifting and Crossfit style workouts into his training sessions. When dealing with more debilitating injuries he often incorporates a variety of manual therapy techniques, including instrumented assisted soft tissue mobilization and dry needling.

Michael’s philosophy is that we are a system and that it is unpractical to only look at localized regions of the body when working toward strength, pain, endurance, and movement related goals. Being a part of a medical team continues to reinforce that it takes a whole body approach to achieve extraordinary results.

Michael always had a passion for movement, earning his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Sport Management. He actively participated in baseball in high school and college. Recreationally he was a bit of a sport enthusiast, regularly playing golf, soccer, basketball, and tennis. Living only 15 minutes from Hunter and Windham Mountain he spent his winters skiing and snowboarding. Over the last couple of years he has found himself getting more involved in individual sports including running, road biking and his true LOVE- golf. Michael is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute and also holds certification in dry needling. In his spare time he enjoys letting his dog pull him around the neighborhood, spending time with his family and friends and secretly watching The Bachelor with his wife.
